Chelsea and EPL club agree £30m for the signing of a world-class forward

Chelsea and Everton are pushing to complete a deal for the transfer of Armando Broja this summer.

Sportsfocushub understands the Toffees are in discussions over a £30million deal for the Chelsea forward as they look to bolster their attacking options.

It's understood that Chelsea are holding out for a deal worth closer to £35million.

Sean Dyche's side are hoping for a quick breakthrough as they look to kickstart their summer transfer plans.

However they face competition from a number of other clubs including AC Milan, Monaco, Wolves, Crystal Palace and Bologna.

A product of Chelsea's youth academy, Broja has risen through the ranks after joining the club at the age of eight.

Following a season on loan with Vitesse Arnhem, the Albanian striker scored nine goals during a campaign on loan with Southampton, before heading back to Stamford Bridge to challenge for a first team place.

However the 22-year-old has scored just three times in 38 games for Chelsea, with injuries disrupting his hopes of establishing himself.

Broja was sent on loan to London rivals Fulham in the January transfer window but made just eight appearances for the club, all of which came off the bench.

Keen to kickstart his career, the striker could get his chance to prove himself with Chelsea keen to offload him at the right price.

While Everton are keen to complete a swift deal, Broja will be keen to ensure that his focus remains on Albania's Euro 2024 campaign.

Broja has been named in the squad who will compete in the competition's group of death as they challenge Italy, Croatia and Spain for a place in the next round.
